London 3/13--a.m. Portobello Market

In the morning on Saturday we took the tube to Notting Hill and went to the famous Portobello Market. It was a huge gathering, and the road seemed to go on forever. It started with expensive antiques and vintage jewelry shops and devolved into a worthwhile flea market at the end. The food market is located near the middle part of the road and on side streets. It was charming and is well worth a trip if you are in London. I found a wonderful vintage citrine stone ring. It really catches the light! Don has a favorite vintage watch shop that we went through as well.
